2010 New Year Message... (Posted: 01.01.10)

Dear Constituents,

Happy new year as I pray that 2010 meets your expectations.

2009 was eventful, rewarding and memorable for our people as government embarked on massive infrastructural development strides to meet the yearnings of its citizens. Our constituency benefitted as several projects abound: massive renovation of schools, water projects, free compulsory but qualitative education, etc abound in our constituency.

On Electricity, just last week the present administration took a giant step at solving this problem by awarding and paying out mobilization to contractors for the electrification of all the villages without light in our constituency. We are hopeful that more progress will be achieved in this 2010. On tuesday 29th december, 2009 Governor Godswill Akpabio presented the 2010 budget to the AKHA and this has been committed to my committee to work on.

Again I assure you all of my avowed commitment to offer qualitative and efficient service. My prayer for us this year is that God Almighty shall order our steps and lead us to all good things for our upliftment and improvement of the quality of life of our people, as well as the development of our constituency.

I remain open to your advice and suggestions as I hope for a more roburst engagement this year with my constituents.
