3 Years Like Yesterday... (Posted: 07.06.10)

Dear Constituents,

Its amazing that 3 years as your representative beckoned this June 5th and it all seems like yesterday but for the giant strides that has seen our constituency bettered than we met on assumption of office. We have together brought in needed developmental projects that are fast re-engineering the physical and psycological outlook of our people, and constituency.

Infrastructures such as better school buildings, hospitals, roads, electricity, clean drinking water, etc have continued to abound in our constituency. Our brothers and sisters in the diaspora are showing more interest in assisting us get better as well. Just yesterday, one of our very own, PATRICK UTIN in Oklahoma city, called to inform me that he is donating hospital equipment, books and sports trophies to hospitals, libraries and schools, respectively, in our constituency, in August. I urge others to emulate this lofty gesture.

On tuesday, May 25th, 2010 a new speaker of our legislature emerged and your representative is already working closely with him to give you the representation you deserve. May I reassure you of my unflinching commitment to serve you with the highest interest being that of delivering on your very expectations.

Permit me to use this opportunity to formally inform you of my intention to seek a second term as your representative as continuity in the sustainance of our gains so far is of paramount importance if we are to consolidate on our achievements thus far. I count on your understanding and prayers to navigate through this last year of my current tenure.
