Projects
2010
- 13.07.2010: 10 projects submitted by Hon.Ikon approved as constituency projects in Etinan constituency. Download the complete list here.
- March: 34 people-oriented projects commissioned (23.03.10).
- February: The yearly free JAMB preparatory classes is on now in Etinan with over 200 participants as at Wednesday, 24th February.
- January: A sensitization workshop sponsored by Hon. Ikon was organized for his constituents at the Etinan Council Secretariat on opportunities, courses and information on the petroleum and oil servicing sector. The intention was to make his constituents aware of other employeable areas outside of Government. 100 indigenes have been selected from those who attended the workshop to be sponsored by Hon. Ikon in various areas of job opportunities in the oil sector.
2009
- Free JAMB Preparatory Classes: For Etinan Children.
- 15.12.2009: Hon. Sam Ikon donated 50,000 excercise books with rulers, erasers, pencils and sharpeners to primary schools in Etinan constistuency. On the same day, he presented 11 motorbikes to the 11 PDP ward chairmen in Etinan L.G.A. to facilitate effective mobilization for the party. He also donated a generating set to the Nigerian Police,Etinan Division to assist the division charge their communication gadgets for effective coverage of the Local government area.
- Church Building Handover: Constructed by Hon. Ikon (05.07.09), to the Apostolic Church (Uyo Field), as my gratitude to God Almighty for his mercies and goodness to him.
- Free Aptitude Test Classes: Commences 22.06.09
